Load limiting device is a safety system which inhibits movements of a mechanical equipment if load goes over the fixed maximum value.

Load limiting devices are made by:

• load cells or weighting sensors
  
• a microprocessor sophisticated electronic board
  

Also for this board, as for the others produced by DAT instruments, the setting is carried out by a notebook or a work station PC. In this way it is possible to set up all values to guarantee that the board is perfectly operative in any situation. This is a very useful characteristic when you need to use more than one board on equal equipments.

If needed, it is possible to have high safety system, where you have a double number of sensors and where a bi-processor board is added.
